Sunday Nights Game should Be A Good One!

This game should be a good one. We, the San Diego Chargers, are playing the Kansas City Chiefs, here at home.
The Chiefs have a great running back in Larry Johnson, but we have a legend in his own time
LT, Ladamion Tomlinson right now he should be the MVP of the league. our defence needs to stop Larry Johnson, and the offenceive team needs to give LT some great blocks. It should be a very good game.

GO CHARGERS!!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoy the game...

The Health Benifit of Green Tea

For 4,000 years, the Chinese people have been using green tea as treatment for everything from headaches to depression.
Today, studies are conducted in Asia and the west in order to produce hard evidence of the health benefits of green tea. In the 1994 edition of the Journal of National Cancer Institute, the results of an epidemiological study stated that one of the health benefits of drinking green tea is that it can reduce the risk of esophageal cancer in Chinese men and women by up to 60%.
The rich presence of catechin polyphenols, particularly epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) is the reason why green tea has so much health benefits. A powerful antioxidant, EGCG can not only inhibit the growth of cancer cells but can also destroy them without harming healthy cells.
The University of Purdue has also concluded a research on how a certain compound present in green tea can stop cancer cells from growing. Still another health benefit of green tea is its ability to lower down cholesterol levels and improve the ratio between good (HDL) cholesterol and bad (LDL) cholesterol.
The EGCG in green tea is a health benefit substance that can lower down LDL cholesterol levels and stop blood from forming abnormal clots (thrombosis), a leading cause of heart attacks and strokes.
Green tea has more health benefits compared to other Chinese teas like oolong and black tea, all of which come from the plant Camellia sinensis. What makes green tea different is the process by which it is made. Green tea owes much of its health benefits to how the Camellia sinensis leaves are steamed. The steam process keeps the EGCG health benefit of green tea from oxidizing. With oolong and black teas, however, the leaves are fermented instead of being steamed, thus causing the EGCG health benefit to transform into another less medicinally potent form.
Aside from medicinal value, green tea can also offer other health benefits, especially in the fitness field. Drinking green tea can cause a person to burn down more calories. A recent study on the health benefits of green tea shows that the drink can help dieters. According to the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition in 1999, men who take both caffeine and green tea burn down more calories than men who only take caffeine or a placebo.
Another health benefit of green tea is its bacteria-destroying properties. The health benefit of green tea in this area is that it can help prevent food poisoning and also prevent tooth decay. The substances found in green tea kill the bacteria causing food poisoning and those that cause dental plaque to form.
Well known for its countless medicinal and health benefits, green tea is nothing short of a
great health helper.

Citgo.Boo!!!

Just in case someone didn't already know, Chavez hates the USA and would shoot us as soon as look at us. He has said so on national television, but he loves staying rich selling us his oil. I stopped buying his gas 2 years ago. I would run out of gas on the side of the road before stopping to buy Citgo. VERY IMPORTANT I had to forward this, because Chavez is starting to feel the loss of revenue from his holdings. He owns CITGO!
There is a very important move that everyone should be aware of. ANNOUNCED JUST RECENTLY, CITGO, BEING AWARE THAT SALES ARE DOWN DUE TO U.S. CUSTOMERS NOT WANTING TO BUY FROM "CHAVEZ", HAS STARTED TO CHANGE THE NAME OF SOME OF THEIR STORES TO: "PETRO EXPRESS"
DO NOT BUY FROM "PETRO EXPRESS""PETRO EXPRESS" IS ALSO 100% OWNED BY "CHAVEZ" , as is Citgo!
KEEP THIS MEMO GOING SO EVERYONE KNOWS WHAT IS HAPPENING.

It is the Veteran!!!

It is the VETERAN , not the preacher, who has given us freedom of religion.
It is the VETERAN , not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the VETERAN , not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the VETERAN , not the campus organizer, who has given us freedom to assemble.
It is the VETERAN , not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial.
It is the VETERAN , not the politician, Who has given us the right to vote.
It is the VETERAN , who salutes the Flag, It is the veteran , who serves under the Flag.

ETERNAL REST GRANT THEM O LORD, AND LET PERPETUAL LIGHT SHINE UPON THEM. I don't usually suggest that many emails be forwarded, but I'd be EXTREMELY proud if this one reached as many as possible. We can be very proud of our young men and women in the service no matter where they serve. God Bless the them all!!!

Thanksgiving Bird??

please note.....grapefruit or oranges, or cantaloupes may be used n'loo of lemons?!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING
...Here is a recipe I thought you would like for the holidays!Ingredients:1 whole chicken or turkey1 large lemon, cut into halvessprig of rosemarysalt and pepper to tastebutter or olive oil, whichever you preferHeat oven to 350 degrees Rub butter or oil over the skin of the chicken/turkey until it is completely coated.Sprinkle with salt and pepper and any other seasonings you prefer.Take a knife and gently separate the skin from the breast meat; Slide lemon halves under the skin with the peel side up, one oneach side. This way the juice from the lemon will release into the breasts.Place sprig of rosemary into the chicken/turkey. Cover and bake for 30-45 minutes. Remove cover and continueto roast until juices run clear, basting every 15-20 minutes. If you've followed these steps correctly, your chicken/turkey should look like the one in the picture.Bon Appetit!

Andy Rooney Said !

Surprised CBS let him get away with this even though he's right
AMEN ANDY ROONEY ! Right on, Andy Rooney!

Andy Rooney said on "60 Minutes" a few weeks back: I don't think being a minority makes you a victim of anything except numbers. The only things I can think of that are truly discriminatory are things like the United Negro College Fund, Jet Magazine, Black Entertainment Television, and Miss Black America.
Try to have things like the UnitedCaucasianCollege Fund, Cloud Magazine, White Entertainment Television, or Miss White America; and see what happens...Jesse Jackson will be knocking down your door.

Guns do not make you a killer. I think killing makes you a killer. You can kill someone with a baseball bat or a car, but no one is trying to ban you from driving to the ball game.
I believe they are called the Boy Scouts for a reason, that is why there are no girls allowed. Girls belong in the Girl Scouts! ARE YOU LISTENING MARTHA BURKE?

I think that if you feel homosexuality is wrong, it is not a phobia, it is an opinion. I have the right "NOT" to be tolerant of others because they are different, weird, or tick me off.
When 70% of the people who get arrested are black, in cities where 70% of the population is black, that is not racial profiling, it is the Law of Probability.

I believe that if you are selling me a milkshake, a pack of cigarettes, a newspaper or a hotel room, you must do it in English! As a matter of fact, if you want to be an American citizen, you should have to speak English!
My father and grandfather didn't die in vain so you can leave the countries you were born in to come over and disrespect ours.

I think the police should have every right to shoot your sorry ass if you threaten them after they tell you to stop. If you can't understand the word "freeze" or "stop" in English, see the above lines.

I don't think just because you were not born in this country, you are qualified for any special loan programs, government sponsored bank loans or tax breaks, etc., so you can open a hotel, coffee shop, trinket store, or any other business.
We did not go to the aid of certain foreign countries and risk our lives in wars to defend their freedoms, so that decades later they could come over here and tell us our constitution is a living document; and open to their interpretations.

I don't hate the rich I don't pity the poor.
I know pro wrestling is fake, but so are movies and television. That doesn't stop you from watching them.
I think Bill Gates has every right to keep every penny he made and continue to make more. If it ticks you off, go and invent the next operating system that's better, and put your name on the building.

It doesn't take a whole village to raise a child right, but it does take a parent to stand up to the kid; and smack their little behinds when necessary, and say "NO!"

I think tattoos and piercing are fine if you want them, but please don't pretend they are a political statement. And, please, stay home until that new lip ring heals. I don't want to look at your ugly infected mouth as you serve me French fries!

I am sick of "Political Correctness." I know a lot of black people, and not a single one of them was born in Africa ; so how can they be "African-Americans"? Besides, Africa is a continent. I don't go around saying I am a European-American because my great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather was from Europe .

I am proud to be from America and nowhere else And if you don't like my point of view, tough... I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG, OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA , AND TO THE REPUBLIC, FOR WHICH IT STANDS, ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!? AMEN!

I was asked to send this on if I agree or delete if I don't. It is said that 86% of Americans believe in God. Therefore I have a very hard time understanding why there is such a problem in having "In God We Trust" on our money and having "God" in the Pledge of Allegiance. Why don't we just tell the 14% to Shut Up ,lay down and BE QUIET!!! If you agree, pass this on, if not delete.

History

The next time you are washing your hands and complain because the watertemperature isn't just how you like it, think about how things used to be.
Here are some facts about the1500s:
Most people got married in June because they took their yearly bath in May, and still smelled pretty good by June. However, they were starting to smell, so brides carried a bouquet of flowers to hide the body odor. Hence the custom today of carrying a bouquet when getting married. Baths consisted of a big tub filled with hot water.
The man of the house had the privilege of the nice clean water, then all the other sons and men, then the women and finally the children. Last of all the babies. By then the water was so dirty you could actually lose someone in it. Hence the saying, Don't throw the baby out with the Bath water..
Houses had thatched roofs-thick straw-piled high, with no wood underneath. It was the only place for animals to get warm, so all the cats and other small animals (mice, bugs) lived in the roof. When it rained it became slippery and sometimes the animals would slip and fall off the roof. Hence the saying . It's raining catsand dogs.
There was nothing to stop things from falling into the house.. This posed a real problem in the bedroom where bugs and other droppings could mess up your nice clean bed. Hence, a bed with big posts and a sheet hung over the top afforded some protection. That's how canopy beds came into existence. The floor was dirt. Only the wealthy had something other than dirt. Hence the saying, Dirt poor.
The wealthy had slate floors that would get slippery in the winter when wet, so they spread thresh (straw) on floor to help keep their footing. As the winter wore on, they added more thresh until, when you opened the door, it would all start slipping outside. A piece of wood was placed in the entranceway. Hence the saying a thresh hold.(Getting quite an education, aren't you?)
In those old days, they cooked in the kitchen with a big kettle that always hung over the fire. Every day they lit the fire and added things to the pot. They ate mostly vegetables and did not get much meat. They would eat the stew for dinner, leaving leftovers in the pot to get cold overnight and then start over the next day. Sometimes stew had food in it that had been there for quite a while. Hence the rhyme, Peas porridge hot, peas porridge cold, peas porridge in the pot nine days old.. Sometimes they could obtain pork, which made them feel quite special. When visitors came over, they would hang up their bacon to show off. It was a sign of wealth that a man could, bring home the bacon. They would cut off a little to share with guests and would all sit around and chew the fat..Those with money had plates made of pewter. Food with high acid content caused some of the lead to leach onto the food, causing lead poisoning death. This happened most often with tomatoes, so for the next 400 years or so, tomatoes were considered poisonous. Bread was divided according to status. Workers got the burnt bottom ofthe loaf, the family got the middle, and guests got the top, or the upper crust. Lead cups were used to drink ale or whiskey. The combination would sometimes knock the imbibers out for a couple of days. Someone walking along the road would take them for dead and prepare them for burial. They were laid out on the kitchen table for a couple of days and the family would gather around and eat and drink and wait and see if they would wake up. Hence the custom of holding a wake. England is old and small and the local folks started running out of places to bury people. So they would dig up coffins and would take the bones to a bone-house, and reuse the grave. When reopening these coffins, 1 out of 25 coffins were found to have scratch marks on the inside and they realized they had been burying people alive. So they would tie a string on the wrist of the corpse, lead it through thecoffin and up through the ground and tie it to a bell. Someone would have to sit out in the graveyard all night (the graveyard shift) to listen for the bell; thus, someone could be, saved by the bell or was considered a ..dead ringer..And that's the truth...Now, whoever said History was boring ! ! !

The Year 1906

This will boggle your mind, I know it did mine! The year is 1906. One hundred years ago.
What a difference a century makes! Here are some statistics for the Year 1906 :
The average life expectancy was 47 years.
Only 14 percent of the homes had a bathtub.
Only 8 percent of the homes had a telephone.
There were only 8,000 cars and only 144 miles of paved roads. The maximum speed limit in most cities was 10 mph.
The tallest structure in the world was the Eiffel Tower !
The average wage in was 22 cents per hour.
The average worker made between $200 and $400 per year .
]A competent accountant could expect to earn $2000 per year, a dentist $2,500 per year, a veterinarian between $1,500 and $4,000 per year, and a mechanical engineer about $5,000 per year.

More than 95 percent of all births took place at HOME .
Ninety percent of all doctors had NO COLLEGE EDUCATION! Instead, they attended so-called medical schools, many of which were condemned in the press AND the government as "substandard."

Sugar cost four cents a pound.
Eggs were fourteen cents a dozen.
Coffee was fifteen cents a pound.
Most women only washed their hair once a month, and used borax or egg yolks for shampoo.

Canada passed a law that prohibited poor people from entering into their country for any reason.

Five leading causes of death were: 1. Pneumonia and influenza 2. Tuberculosis 3. Diarrhea 4. Heart disease 5. Stroke
The American flag had 45 stars.
The population of Las Vegas, Nevada, was only 30!!!!
Crossword puzzles, canned beer, and ice tea hadn't been invented yet.
There was no Mother's Day or Father's Day.

Two out of every 10 adults couldn't read or write.
Only 6 percent of all Americans had graduated from high school.
Marijuana, heroin, and morphine were all available over the counter at the local corner drugstores.Back then pharmacists said, "Heroin clears the complexion, gives buoyancy to the mind, regulates the stomach and bowels, and is, in fact, a perfect guardian of health." ( Shocking? DUH! )
Eighteen percent of households had at least one full-time servant or domestic help.
There were about 230 reported murders in the ENTIRE ! U.S.A !

Now I forwarded this from someone else without typing it myself, and sent it to you and others all over the United States,& Canada possibly the world, in a matter of seconds!

Try to imagine what it may be like in another 100 years

This is Beautiful- Thomas Kincade

The Pledge Of Allegiance-by Senator John McCain

"As you may know, I spent five and one half years as a prisoner of war during the Vietnam War. In the early years of our imprisonment, the NVA kept us in solitary confinement or two or three to a cell. In 1971 the NVA moved us from these conditions of isolation into large rooms with as many as 30 to 40 men to a room. This was, as you can imagine, a wonderful change and was a direct result of the efforts of millions of Americans onbehalf of a few hundred POWs 10,000miles from home
.One of the men who moved into my room was a young man named Mike Christian. Mike came from a small town near Selma , Alabama . He didn't wear a pair of shoes until he was 13 years old. At 17, he enlisted in the US Navy. He later earned a commission by going to Officer Training School Then he became a Naval Flight Officer and was shot down and captured in 1967. Mike had a keen and deep appreciation of the opportunities this country and our military provide for people who want to work and want to succeed. As partof the change in treatment, the Vietnamese allowed some prisoners to receive packages from home. In some of these packages were handkerchiefs, scarves and other items of clothing.Mike got himself a bamboo needle. Over a period of a couple of months, he created an American flag and sewed on the inside of his shirt. Every afternoon, before we had a bowl of soup, we would hang Mike's shirt onthe wall of the cell and say the Pledge of Allegiance. I know the Pledge of Allegiance may not seem the most important part of our day now, but I can assure you that in that stark cell it was indeed the most important and meaningful event. One day the Vietnamese searched our cell, as they did periodically, and discovered Mike's shirt with the flag sewn inside, and removed it.That evening they returned, opened the doorof the cell, and for the benefit of all of us, beat Mike Christian severely for the next couple of hours. Then, they opened the door of the cell and threw him in. We cleaned him up as well as we could. The cell in which we lived had a concrete slab in the middle on which we slept Four naked light bulbs hung in each corner of the room. As I said, we tried to clean up Mike as well as we could. After the excitement died down, I looked in the corner of the room, and sitting there beneath that dim light bulb with a piece of red cloth, another shirt and his bamboo needle, was my friend, Mike Christian. He was sitting there with his eyes almost shut from the beating he had received, making another American flag. He was not making the flag because it made Mike Christian feel better. He was making that flag because he knew how important it was to us to be able to Pledge our allegiance to our flag and country. So the next time you say the Pledge of Allegiance, you must never forget the sacrifice and courage that thousands of Americans have made to build our nation and promote freedom around the world. You must remember our duty, our honor, and our country
"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

Freedom Isn't Free

I watched the flag pass by one day,It fluttered in the breeze.A young Marine saluted it,And then he stood at ease.I looked at him in uniform So young, so tall, so proud,With hair cut square and eyes alertHe'd stand out in any crowd.
I thought how many men like him Had fallen through the years? How many died on foreign soil How many mothers' tears? How many pilots' planes shot down? How many died at sea?How many foxholes were soldiers' graves? No, freedom isn't free.
I heard the sound of Taps one night, When everything was still, I listened to the bugler play And felt a sudden chill. I wondered just how many timesThat Taps had meant "Amen, "When a flag had draped a coffin.Of a brother or a friend
.I thought of all the children ,Of the mothers and the wives,Of fathers, sons and husbands With interrupted lives. I thought about a graveyard At the bottom of the sea, Of unmarked graves in Arlington...No, freedom isn't free.

Another Nascar Day!

The race from Phoenix was a good one, except for the fact Dale Jr lost 2 spots in the chase with only one race to go in the season. They need to get his car working perfect for Homestead Florida race. We'll see.

Kevin Harvick moved up to 3rd in the points with his win yesterday. All in all a pretty good race for all the chasers.

Pirate Joke!!

A pirate walked into a bar and the bartender said, "Hey, I haven't seen you in a while. What happened? You look terrible."
"What do you mean?" said the pirate, "I feel fine."
"What about the wooden leg? You didn't have that before."
"Well, we were in a battle and I got hit with a cannon ball, but I'm fine now."
"Well, OK, but what about that hook? What happened to your hand?"
"We were in another battle. I boarded a ship and got into a sword fight my hand was cut off. I got fitted with a hook. I'm fine, really."
"What about that eye patch?"
"Oh, one day we were at sea, and a flock of birds flew over. I looked up and one of them pooped in my eye.""You're kidding!" said the bartender. "You couldn't lose an eye just from bird poop."
"Well, it was my first day with the hook."

DO Not Respond to a call from Area Code 809

IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT AREA CODE We actually received a call last week from the 809 area code. The woman said "Hey, this is Karen. Sorry I missed you--get back to us quickly. I Have something important to tell you." Then she repeated a phone number beginning with 809 .. "We didn't respond".Then this week, we received the following e-mail:Subject: DON'T EVER DIAL AREA CODE 809 , 284 AND 876 THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION PROVIDED TO US BY AT&T. DON'T EVER DIAL AREA CODE 809 This one is being distributed all over the US . This is pretty scary, especially given the way they try to get you to call.Be sure you read this and pass it on. They get you to call by telling you that it is information about a family member who has been ill or to tell you someone has-been arrested, died, or to let you know you have won a wonderful prize, etc. In each case, you are told to call the 809 number right away. Since there are so many new area codes these days, people unknowingly return these calls. If you call from the US , you will apparently be charged $2,425 per-minute. Or, you'll get a long recorded message. The point is, they will try to keep you on the phone as long as possible to increase the charges. Unfortunately, when you get your phone bill, you'll often be charged more than $24,100.00. WHY IT WORKS: The 809 area code is located in the British Virgin Islands (The Bahamas). The charges afterwards can become a real nightmare. That's because you did actually make the call. If you complain, both your local phone company and your long distance carrier will not want to get involved and will most likely tell you that they are simply providing the billing for the foreign company. You'll end up dealing with a foreign company that argues they have done nothing wrong. Please forward this entire message to your friends, family and colleagues to help them become aware of this scamSandi Van HandelAT&T Field Service Manager(920)687-904

Use google adwords to get traffic!!!

The biggest well known secret in generating wealth in the internet based business or e-commerce is Traffic. Everybody knows it; every site wants it and every site needs it. The point of websites is to be visited and viewed. Many elaborate designs, money and countless hours of developing a site to make them beautiful and attractive are utilized. Without traffic, it is for naught.

With traffic comes a potential customer which basically means sales which in turn means profit. While many sites have collapsed in the past with the downturn of many internet based business, many smaller sites have generated good money by concentrating on a certain niche and some subniches.

This is a reason why e-commerce site laser target certain groups of people and drive them to their site to showcase their sites and products. Precision marketing is essential so that you could count on all the traffic on your site as potential customers.

Using Money to Make Money

It’s a common business notion that if you want to make money, you have to spend money. One good way of spending money for business gain is through advertising. Advertising brings in the people because through advertising, they know that there is such a company or product in existence. With the right type of advertising, you can see the spurt of traffic growth to your site. With a high volume of traffic, even if only a small portion or percentage turns out to be buying customers it is still a good average of profit generating income.
Right now, there is no other advertising scheme that would be worth every cent than using Google’s Adwords. The surge in popularity of Google’s Adwords is very evident as you can see so many sites sporting this ad scheme.

In using Google's Adwords, you pay a certain fee depending on the number of keywords your ad is keyword sensitive to. Each time a person does a search in Google, the keyword or keywords use generate ads in the side of Google which are generated by the keywords they have assigned for their ads.

This method laser targets the traffic a site wants for their site. This also ensures that you are readily visible in the first page of a search result. Paying Google for this ad scheme ensures that your target group of people sees your ads. You drive your laser targeted traffic to your site which provides for their needs and wants. You can also be sure that you can meet their demands and needs.

Aside from Google, you can also be featured in their other search networks, these includes sites like, AskJeeves, AOL Search and Netscape. These sites also show Adwords ads that react to searches done by visitors. There are also content networks, non-search engine sites that feature Google Adwords, which will also carry your ads. But this is subjected to the niche the site features. Your chosen keywords will determine which content network shall feature your ad. The frequency of your ad shall also be determined by your allowed budget.

Laser Targeting your Traffic

To get a good number or estimate of the traffic to buying customer ratio it is good to laser target your traffic. Knowing that your traffic are all potential customers and are interested in your products and company provides you with a more accurate statistics. This will show you how effective your utilizing of Google Adwords is.

Drive laser targeted traffic to your site by using keywords or keyword phrases for your Goggle Adwords that pertains to your company and to your products. Facts

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will.

You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken.

You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did.
You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love.

So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.

So send this to all of your friends in the next 5 minutes and a miracle will happen tonight

What is going on???

I can not beleive what is going on with the smokeing issue out here in California.
What the hell is the matter with people and their NO SMOKEING crap. This is a free country.
I used to smoke two to three packs a day,yes I know it is not good for you and all that crap, but it is your right to smoke. These dumbass people who want to stop your right to smoke need to get their shit togeather and give it up.
If you are outside at the beach or a ballpark or any outdoor activity you should not be barred from smoking.I can see maybe you might cause someone who has a breathing problem and I would get out of an enclosed area but come on if you don't like the smoke outside, move away from them. Its that simple

The Lark Program (Joke)

A Lady libertarian wrote a lot of letters to the White House complaining about the treatment of a captive insurgent (terrorist) being held in GuantanamoBay. She received back the following reply:The White House1600 Pennsylvania AvenueWashington, D.C. 20016

Dear Concerned Citizen,

Thank you for your recent letter roundly criticizing our treatment of the Taliban and Al Quaeda detainees currently being held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Our administration takes these matters seriously and your opinion was heard loud and clear here in Washington. You'll be pleased to learn that, thanks to the concerns of citizens like yourself, we are creating a new divisionof the Terrorist Retraining Program,to be called the "Liberals Accept Responsibility for Killers" program, or LARK for short. In accordance with the guidelines of this new program, we have decided to place one terrorist under your personal care. Your personal detainee has been selected and scheduled for transportation under heavily armed guard to your residence next Monday. Ali Mohammed Ahmed bin Mahmud (you can just call him Ahmed) is to be cared for pursuant to the standards you personally demanded in your letter of complaint. It will likely be necessary for you to hire some assistant caretakers. We will conduct weekly inspections to ensure that your standards of care for Ahmed are Commensurate with those you so strongly recommended in your letter. Although Ahmed is a sociopath and extremely violent, we hope that your sensitivity to what you described as his "attitudinal problem" will help him overcome these character flaws. Perhaps you are correct in describing these problems as mere cultural differences. We understand that you plan to offer counseling and home schooling. You r adopted terrorist is extremely proficient in hand-to-hand combatand can extinguish human life with such simple items as a pencil or nail clippers. We advise that you do not ask him to demonstrate these skills at your next yoga group. He is also expert at making a wide variety of explosive devices from common household products, so you may wish tokeep those items locked up, unless (in your opinion) this might offend him. Ahmed will not wish to interact with you or your daughters (except sexually), since he views females as a subhuman form of property. Thisi s a particularly sensitive subject for him and he has been known to show violent tendencies around women who fail to comply with the new dress code that he will r ecommend as more appropriate attire. I'm sure you will come to enjoy the anonymity offered by the burka --over time. Just remember that it is all part of "respecting his culture and his religious beliefs" -- wasn't that how you put it?Thanks again for your letter. We truly appreciate it when folks like you keep us informed of the proper way to do our job. You take good care of Ahmed - and remember..we'll be watching.
Good luck!
Cordially, your friend

,Don Rumsfeld

Getting out and Staying out of Credit Card Debt

Credit card debt is a major cause of over one million bankruptcies each year. The reason is that many people get a credit card without researching and reading the fine print. By the time annual fees are added on, along with spending indiscriminately, payments are missed, which causes their balance to skyrocket.
Although we all like to place the blame on the credit cards and the credit card companies, you need to keep in mind that the real cause of your financial mess is you.
One shopping spree does not usually cause high debt. It is usually a pattern that consists of gradually increasing purchases that add up to a large debt. The great thing is that it can be very easy to get out of debt. The key is to start spending less than you make. This is a long-term solution that can help you to whittle your debt down.
Although it may sound simple, it can be very difficult if you have a problem with willpower. It is important to stick with spending less than you make or you will find yourself in exactly the same place as you were before. Overcoming your debt will take willpower and a great deal of time.
It may be difficult to stick with your debt repayment program, but keep yourself strong and you will find yourself out of debt before you know it.
It is important to learn how to get out of debt and then stay out of debt. If you can summon enough willpower and strength towards your finances and spending, then you will find yourself the winner in the game of debt. It may be easy to get into debt, but getting out of debt is much more difficult, but worth it.
One simple phrase can sum up the solution to your financial problems. If you don’t have the money to spend, then don’t spend it!

CBS 9/11

I don't know if you saw this last night, but CBS put on a documentry show that was on till midnight and it was from the two french brothers that were filming a documentry about how firefighters in New York were trained ,and they just happen to be filming outside when the first plane hit the north tower. They kept the cameras rolling through out the whole day and ,they got seperated at one time and didn't know if the other was alive. They were both filming with differant groups . This was avery moving and sad story as it was on 9/11/2001
I personally want to thank the networks for keeping that story going for the American public
NEVER FORGET!!!!!

Never let what happen that day stray from your mind. We owe that to the brave people that lost their lives that day.

"Ode To America"

The article was written by Mr. Cornel Nistorescu and published under thetitle "C"ntarea Americii, meaning "Ode To America" in the Romanian newspaperEvenimentulzilei "The Daily Event" or "News of the Day."'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''

~An Ode to America~

Why are Americans so united? They would not resemble one another even if you painted them all one color! They speak all the languages of the world and form an astonishing mixture of civilizations and religious beliefs.
Still, the American tragedy turned three hundred million people into a hand put on theheart. Nobody rushed to accuse the White House, the army, and the secret services that they are only a bunch of losers. Nobody rushed to empty their bank accounts. Nobody rushed out onto the streets nearby to gape about. TheAmericans volunteered to donate blood and to give a helping hand. After the first moments of panic, they raised their flag over the smoking ruins, putting on T-shirts, caps and ties in the colors of the national flag. They placed flags on buildings and cars as if in every place and on every car a government official or the president was passing. On every occasion, they started singing their traditional song: "GodBlessAmerica!" I watched the live broadcast and rerun after rerun for hours listening to the story of the guy who went down one hundred floors with a woman in a wheelchair without knowing who she was, or of the Californian hockeyplayer, who gave his life fighting with the terrorists and prevented the planef rom hitting a target that could have killed other hundreds or thousands of people. How on earth were they able to respond united as one human being? Imperceptibly, with every word and musical note, the memory of some turned into a modern myth of tragic heroes. And with every phone call, millions and millions of dollars were put in a collection aimed at rewarding not a manora family, but a spirit, which no money can buy. What on earth can unite the Americans in such a way? Their land? Their galloping history? Their economic Power? Money? I tried for hours to find an answer, humming songs and murmuring phrases with the risk of sounding commonplace. I thought things over, but I reached only one conclusion... Only freedom can work such miracles. Cornel Nistorescu(This deserves to be passed around the Internet forever)

Bet you didn't know this fact!!!!!

Many will recall that on July 8, 1947, witnesses claim an unidentified flying object with five

aliens aboard crashed on a sheep and cattle ranch just outside Roswell, New Mexico.

This is a well known incident that many say has long been covered up by the US Air Force

and the federal government. However, you may well NOT know that in the month of March

1948, exactly nine months after that historic day, Albert Arnold Gore, Jr., Hillary Rodham;

John F. Kerry; William Jefferson Clinton; Howard Dean; Nancy Pelosi; Dianne Feinstein;

Charles E. Schumer; and Barbara Boxer were all born. That piece of information has now

cleared up a lot of odd questions concerning these politicos .

It is time for America to speak up!!

Interesting...and good points - not sure who the author was - but well done - hope it makes an impact
.I am sorry but after hearing they want to sing the "National Anthem" in Spanish - enough is enough.
No where did they sing it in Italian, Polish, Irish(Celtic), German or any other language because of immigration. It was written by Francis Scott Key and should be sung word for word the way it was written.
The news broadcasts even gave the translation - not even close. Sorry if this offends anyone but this is MY COUNTRY - IF IT IS YOUR COUNTRY SPEAK UP!! ---- please pass this along... I am not against immigration. - Just come through like everyone else. Get a sponsor; have a place to lay your head; have a job; pay your taxes, live by the rules AND LEARN THE LANGUAGE as all other immigrants have in the past --- and GOD BLESS AMERICA!
If you don't want to forward this for fear of offending someone-----YOU'REPART OF THE PROBLEM !!!!

Will we still be the Country of choice and still be America if we continue to make the changes forced on us by the people from other countries that came to live in America because it is the Country of Choice?????? Think about it!

All we have to say is, when will they do something about MY RIGHTS? I celebrate Christmas...........but because it isn't celebrated by everyone .............. We can no longer say Merry Christmas. Now it has to be Season's Greetings. It's not Christmas vacation, it's Winter Break. Isn't it amazing how this winter break ALWAYS occurs over the Christmas holiday?

We've gone so far the other way, bent over backwards to not offend anyone, that I am now being offended. But it seems that no one has a problem with that. This says it all! This is an editorial written by an American citizen, published in a Tampa newspaper. He did quite a job; didn't he? IMMIGRANTS, NOT AMERICANS, MUST ADAPT. I am tired of this nation Worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their Culture.

Since the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Americans. However... The dust from the attacks had barely settled when the "politically correct! " crowd began Complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others.

I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who Is seeking a better life by coming to America. Our population is almost entirely made up of descendants of immigrants. However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand. This idea of America being a multicultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Americans.....we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle. This culture has been developed over centuries of struggles, trials, and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom. We speak"ENGLISH", not Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language.

Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, "LEARN THE LANGUAGE" "In God We Trust" is our national motto. This is not some Christian, Right wing, political slogan.. We adopted this motto because Christian men and women.......on Christian principles............. Founded this nation..... And this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home.........because God is part of our culture. If Stars and Stripes offend you, or you don't like Uncle Sam, then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you came from. This is OUR COUNTRY, our land, and our lifestyle. Our First Amendment gives every citizen the right to express his opinion and we will allow you every opportunity to do so! But once you are done complaining....... Whining...... And griping....... About our flag...... Our pledge...... Our national motto.......or our way of life...I highly encourage you to take advantage of one other Great American Freedom...... THE RIGHT TO LEAVE.

It is Time for America to Speak up. If you agree -- pass this along; if you don't agree -- delete it

The Bathtub Test

It doesn't hurt to take a hard look at yourself from time to time, and this should help get you started.
During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director what the criterion was which defined whether or not a patient should be institutionalized.
"Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub."

"Oh, I understand," said the visitor. "A normal person would use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup."
"No." said the Director, "A normal person would pull the plug.
Do you want a bed near the window?"

Subject: Swimming Naked!!

The old farmer had a large pond in the back, fixed up nicely; picnic tables, barbecue pit, horseshoe courts, along with some apple and peach trees.
The pond was properly shaped and fixed up for swimming when it was built. One evening, the old guy decided to go down to the pond and look it over. He hadn't been there for a while.

He grabbed a five gallon bucket to bring back some fruit. As he neared the pond, he heard voices shouting and laughing with glee.
As he came closer, he saw it was a bunch of young women skinny dipping in his pond. As he approached, he made the women aware of his presence. At once, they all went to the deep end. One of the women shouted to him, "We're not coming out until you leave.

" The old man frowned, "I did not come down here to watch you young ladies swim naked, or to make you get out of the pond naked.
" Holding up the bucket, he said, "I'm here to feed the alligator."

Moral: Old men can still think fast.

Another good day of Nascar racing.
If you are from the El Cajon (EL CAHONE) area of

southern california you know Jimmy Johnson won at Indy

He's not one of my

favorites but he has done a good job this

season and his crew really gets him back in the race

after a mishap.

I was glad to see Jr.'s crew chief told him to stay

out on the track that last caution, to get him

up toward the front for the finish of the race. Good call Tony!

Eric Sadler is really having his problems this year

and they whole Robert Yates team may

be gone next season with new drivers.

Five more races to go before the Chase for the Cup.

Stuck on Stupid

Ever wonder what the expression "stuck on stupid" meant?
Well here is an example: The grinning idiot clinging to Je$$e Jack$on is Cindy Sheehan... the sob sister protesting the war at Bush's ranch, who lost her son in the war, the same son she gave up in her divorce when he was 7 years old.

And by the way if you wonder why she has so much free time ... she is going through another divorce right now and guess what? She is giving up custody of another son.

As Forest Gump once wisely proclaimed, "Stupid is as stupid does." Things are really different when you know the whole truth

If You Don't See The Humor In This!

YOU MIGHT BE A REDNECK!"
REDNECK VASECTOMY

A Kooskia couple, both bonified rednecks, had 9 children. They went to the doctor to see about getting the husband "fixed".
The doctor gladly started the required procedure and asked them what finally made them make the decision--why after nine children, would they choose to do this.
The husband replied that they had read in a recent article that one out of every ten children being born in the United States was Mexican, and they didn't want to take a chance on having a Mexican baby because neither of them could speak Spanish.

Gambling Is A Game Of Chance

By five in the morning, a mother had already dressed her two daughters for school. After which, she will be heading next to a casino for an early dose of gambling activity.
Seemed like a "too absurd to be true" situation? Guess again.
Nowadays, gambling seems to be an ordinary activity that most people tend to overlook. By doing so, they do not see the potential harm gambling can do with their lives.
Generally, gambling, more commonly know as betting, is a kind of behavior that involves money valuables being put out to risk as a product of a certain game. So to speak, the money or valuables are at risk because the probability of winning is too low or is totally dependent upon chance. Unless otherwise one will do something about his winning through evil ways, one could never be sure of winning a gambling game.
Gambling comes in many forms: one that can be beatable and the other type is not.
Beatable games of gambling refer to games that can be trampled thereby creating a positive numerical probability through proper strategy. These includes poker, though this is better classified as a game of skill; blackjack, video poker, Pai Gow Poker and Tiles, sports betting, horse racing, and slot machines.
On the other hand, unbeatable games makes a player eventually lose a game no matter what strategy they use. More common examples of these games are slot machines, baccarat, craps, roulette, keno, casino war, faro, pachinko, 3-card and 4-card poker, red dog, pyramid poker, Caribbean stud poker, and Spanish 21.
Both beatable and unbeatable gambling games can be found in the casinos. Though, there are other gambling games that are not played inside the casinos such as lottery, mahjong, backgammon, coin-tossing games such as head and tail, and carnival games like The Razzle and Hanky Pank.
There are also the so-called fixed-odds gambling that can be seen on events like horse racing, football, golf, tennis, baseball, and other sports that entice people to bet on the winner of the event.
All the same, they are all forms of gambling that never stand a chance of winning continuously.
In gambling, people usually tries to gain back whatever they have lost in the game. Some continues to play for the belief that they should not break the monotony of luck. By doing so, they continue to bet and eventually place their selves at the risk of losing more instead.
Most people who are involved in gambling contend that they only play for pleasure or as a form of recreation. While others say they just have to earn money and that gambling is an easy way to do so.
However, because gambling involves a variety of mental activity, coupled with stress and the mentality of a winner, it can be a possible source of psychological addiction. In the long run, this can be very harmful to people who are affected by gambling.
With so much psychedelic effects of gambling, there are even those who engage in betting with another person on premises that a certain statement is true or false, or that a particular event will or will not happen at a given specific time. This occurs commonly on situations wherein two people with strong opposing views debate with each other. Normally, they place bets for fun or for money reason but often to establish their stand on a certain issue.
Consequently, because of the negative effect of gambling, most legal jurisdictions opt to not legalize any gambling activity. With this, any contracts that led to debts brought about by a certain gambling activity are deemed unenforceable by any legal process.
That is why gambling is such a risky activity. Those who gamble merely does not realize what harm gambling can give them.
As they say, never put your good money after bad money. If ever you get to be involved in gambling, discontinue doing bet so as to steer clear of an evident loss.

Gambling Site 101

STOP! Read the following first before tossing that dice. It may save you tons of money and a lot of heartaches.
Many gambling sites offer several promotional incentives like bonuses, guarantees, equal winning opportunities, multiple/solo player modes, higher bet limits and a whole lot more that can be quite dizzying and makes you leap into them before looking into what they really offer.
Let's try and have a look first before you throw down that dice and before you throw away your hard-earned money and miss out on all the fun that thousands of gambling sites offer.
There are several considerations that one must take with prudence before dealing with any gambling site.
The king of them all is to understanding their rules. Incentives are great but you play by their rules. Not all gambling sites have the same set of rules. Read them like you're about to take an exam. Look out for the fine prints, somewhere there might be a catch 22 situation. Understand the procedures and all the transactions they have pertaining to real money.
Just like any exemplary gambling site there is customer service support must be on top of their list. You are paying good money for enjoyment and a chance to win. They must have very excellent and professional people who would be ready to take your call and entertain any questions or complaints anytime of the day. Ask if they have toll free numbers.
Get to know the site better. You may do this by reading reviews, compare them to other gambling sites. There are also several websites that offer a listing of the gambling sites and their ratings. If you are new into online gambling you have to know that there are millions of gambling sites out there. Some better than the others.
Try out the games. Most gambling sites have features that lets you get the feel of their gaming programs for free. Try asking yourself if the interface was user-friendly and very intuitive. Does it have the feel of real poker game or baccarat? There should not be any distraction like having to press a certain key or key combination while the you are in the midst of a very exciting game.Pressing the wrong key or clicking the wrong button could cause you the game.
You may also want to take a look at the support you are getting at your end with your PC and Internet connection. You may want a higher end PC to be able to play the better games that gambling sites offer. This usually means a higher memory requirement and a better video and sound card. Internet connection must be reliable and fast.
If ever you find yourself intrigued by a new game, understand how the game is played. Do your research on the new game. Get to know the all rules and strategies. Most often than not these gambling sites provide trials and test features for new games.
Those are a few tips for you to get to enjoy online gambling better, but don't roll that dice yet! Whether your sitting across your friends playing poker or sitting infront of the monitor playing black jack on a gambling site you have to come well prepared with a plan.
One more thing maybe a lucky rabbit would help.
So cross your fingers, say a little prayer and let that dice roll!

Free Gambling

So you want it free, eh? Well, the best things in the world are supposed to be free and I guess that includes gambling. There is nothing more exciting than the rush of blood in your head and body when you experience winning a straight streak but I bet, the excitement would double once you indulge on free gambling?
Is there such a thing as free gambling? Yes, there is. Before, free gambling does not exist because you should show the other players that you have the money to gamble before the games could commence. But now, thanks to invention of internet and computers, free gambling now exists. First things first, any person below 18 years old are not allowed to gamble neither free gambling nor paid one. Even though the gambling is held in the virtual world, there are still rules and regulation that needs to be observed properly.
In free gambling in the internet, one could choose from the different types of game available in the internet. The only drawback here is that the features for free gambling are often limited because it is free. In order to access special features in that gambling site, one could register and then pay a certain amount. But if you are just a beginner in the world of internet gambling, then it would be advisable to join free gambling sites. This is because gambling skills are needed to be practiced. Through these free sites, a person could exercise his skills in gambling and at the same time learn from his mistakes. After a lot of practice and determination, in time, one could be ready to be a professional gambler with wits and brains to boot to other competitors.
Here are some examples of free gambling sites that would surely satisfy the gambler side of every person. First stop is Pacific Poker. Pacific poker is a type of free gambling site that indulges the player with the game of poker. Next stop is Astro Bingo which is a free gambling haven for bingo lovers. Just for signing in their site, they would give you a free £5 sign up bonus. Another one is 888 Casino which offers free gambling games particularly casino games or games found in casinos. These include free poker games, craps, keno, roulette, blackjack and slots. If you are tired from all that usual stuff then Virgin games is probably the best free gambling site for you. It offers “life-changing” prizes at stake in every play that you game. What are these “life-changing” prices? Well, I guess that you just have to visit their site to find out. Free gambling games that are available in this site includes Winner Takes All, The Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune and even the favorite game of the family, Monopoly. Other games that could be found in free gambling sites are horse-racing bets, reality TV shows, world cups, Saturday matches and the weather. Name it and everything is present in free gambling.
Free gambling is fun but it could sometimes be addictive. For a person that is just new in gambling, take your time to learn and practice but do not let free gambling consume you. Try to balance your life and view free gambling as an alternative and fun way to live life rather than living your life for the sake of free gambling.

The Games Gamblers Play: Casino Gambling

Casino gambling. The first thing that enters our mind is Vegas, slot machines, bright lights and chips. If you’re not a gambling person and you don’t know a lot about casino gambling, then read on...
According to the Wikipedia Online Encyclopedia, a casino is a building that accommodates casino gambling. Customers may gamble by playing slot machines or other games of chance and some skill. Casino gambling games usually have mathematically determined odds built in that ensure the house retains an advantage over the players. This advantage is called the “edge”. “Payout” is the percentage given to players. Some statistically even games may take a commission or tax, a "rake" on bets customers make against each other.
There are a lot of casino gambling games which can get you hooked in no time. First of all, you have the classic slot machine. A slot machine is a coin-operated casino gambling machine with three or more reels that rotate when a lever on the side of the machine is pulled. It includes a currency detector that validates the coin or money inserted to play. The machine typically pays off based on patterns of symbols visible on the front of the machine when it stops.
Sadly, casino gambling games often offer the player the illusion of control in which the player is given choices, but these choices do not eliminate the player's long-term disadvantage. This disadvantage is caused by the casino not paying the full amount that would be expected for the odds wagered. For example, if one game was played by betting what number a roll of a die would give, instead of paying 6 times the amount bet for winning, the casino only pays 5 times the amount bet.
This system is often found in famous casino gambling games like Poker, Craps, Roulette or Blackjack.
Poker is a very popular casino gambling card game. The players, with fully or partially concealed cards make wagers into a central pot, after which the pot is awarded to the remaining player or players with the best combination of cards.
Like Poker, Blackjack is also a very popular casino gambling card game. Much of its popularity is due to the mix of chance with elements of skill and decision making, and a practice called card counting. It is a skill in which players can turn the odds of the game in their favor by making betting and strategy decisions based on the cards that have been dealt. Players suspected of card counting are usually banned and blacklisted by casinos.
Craps is a famous casino gambling game using dice. Players wager money against the casino on the outcome of one roll, or of a series of rolls of two dice. The rules vary slightly from one casino to another, but the expected value of most bets is only slightly negative. All bets have a negative expectation, except the "free odds" bet with an expectation of 0, that the player is allowed to make after a point is established on a flat bet. Unlike in Blackjack, there is no possible winning strategy over any given period of time.
Roulette is a signature casino gambling game. A croupier turns a round roulette wheel which has 37 or 38 separately numbered pockets in which a ball must land. The main pockets are numbered from 1 to 36 and change between red and black, with number 1 being red. In addition there is a pocket numbered 0 of green color. In most roulette wheels in the United States but not in Europe, there is a second zero compartment marked 00, also colored green. If a player bets on a single number and wins, the payout is 35 to 1. The bet itself is returned, so in total it is multiplied by 36.
Be very wary though, these casino gambling games are highly addictive (as they are intended to be). A lot of lives have been ruined by casino gambling and although it might be fun, please do try to regulate yourself.

The Birth Of A Hummingbird!!

This is truly amazing.
Be sure to click on NEXT PAGE at the bottom of each page; there are 5 pages in all.

A lady found a hummingbird nest and got pictures all the way from the egg to leaving the nest.

Took 24 days from birth to flight. Because you'll probably never in your lifetime see this again, enjoy; and please share.

Not a good Nascar Day.

Todays race at Pocono Raceway in Pa. #8 Dale Jr. once again finished 43rd for the second straight week and he dropped down in the points race to 11th. From 3rd in the points to 11th in two weeks is bad, very bad. With only six races to go to the chase, he's going to need some great finishes next race at Indy.and all the races to Richmond.

Denny Hamlin #11 won today for his 2nd Nextel Cup win. Both wins at this same track.

I Have been Paging through Blogs

I have become somewhat of a blog person. Meaning I like looking at blogs and what they talk about. Some are very interesting and insightful and some are less than that.
I just get hooked on what other people want to write about. I have read some that can really peak my interest and some that I really have no interest in. Take a trip through the next blog after this, then after that and so on.

Up in the corner of most of the blogs you can type a keyword or something you might interest you, and it will pop up for you. There are a lot of tech blogs and porn blogs, and knitting blogs. Some are from kids just wanting to vent about their parents or friends. They all have something to say and we should all find out what they are saying. There are a lot of Sports blogs, and picture blogs and you can take a trip around the world just looking at picture blogs.
There are some about Movies and actors and actresses. It can be a very interesting afternoon.
You can click on some links and be taken to an entirely new subject.
I personally have a lot of fun just clicking on other blogs.

Red Fridays

Subject: Red Fridays

Okay, so what if you have alraeady see and read this...do it again, it willdo your heart good!Believe me a tear will fall, and yes gentlemen, that's okay. Let's hear itfor our military folks taking care of business across this planet. God bless each and everyone of them and may they all come home safely.

The daughter of a SoldierLast week I was in Atlanta, Georgia attending a conference. While I was inthe airport, returning home, I heard several people behind me beginning to clap and cheer. I immediately turned around and witnessed one of the greatest act's of patriotism I have ever seen. Moving thru the terminal was a group of soldiers in their camo's, as they began heading to their gate everyone (well almost everyone) was abruptly totheir feet with their hands waving and cheering.

When I saw the soldiers, probably 30-40 of them, being applauded and cheered for it hit me. I'm not alone. I'm not the only red blooded American who still loves this country and supports our troops and their families. Of course I immediately stopped and began clapping for these young unsung heroes who are putting their lives on the line everyday for us so we can go to school, work and home without fear or reprisal.
Just when I thought I could not be more proud of my country or of our service men and women a young girl, not more than 6 or 7 years old, ran up to one of the male soldiers. He kneeled down and said "hi," the little girl then she asked him if he would give something to her daddy for her. The young soldier, he didn't look any older than maybe 22 himself, said he would try and what did she want to give to her daddy. Then suddenly the little girl grabbed the neck of this soldier, gave him the biggest hug she could muster and then kissed him on the cheek. The mother of the little girl, who said her daughters name was Courtney, told the young soldier that her husband was a Marine and had been in Iraq for 11 months now. As the mom was explaining how much her daughter,Courtney, missed her father, the young soldier began to tear up. When this temporarily single mom was done explaining her situation, all of the soldiers huddled together for a brief second. Then one of the other servicemen pulled out a military looking walkie-talkie. They started playing with the device and talking back and forth on it. After about 10-15 seconds of this, the young soldier walked back over to Courtney, bent down and said this to her, "I spoke to your daddy and he told me to give this to you." He then hugged this little girl that he had just met and gave her a kiss on the cheek. He finished by saying "your daddy told me to tell you that he loves you more than anything and he is coming home very soon."The mom at this point was crying almost uncontrollably and as the young soldier stood to his feet he saluted Courtney and her mom. I was standing no more than 6 feet away from this entire event unfolded.
As the soldiers began to leave, heading towards their gate, people resumed their applause. As I stood there applauding and looked around, their were very few dry eyes, including my own.
That young soldier in one last act of selflessness, turned around and blew a kiss to Courtney with a tear rolling down his cheek. We need to remember everyday all of our soldiers and their families and thank God for them and their sacrifices. At the end of the day, it's good to be an American.
Red Friday Just keeping you "in the loop" so you'll know what's going on in case this takes off. RED FRIDAYS ----- Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing Red every Friday. The reason? Americans who support our troops used to be called the "silent majority". We are no longer silent, and are voicing our love for God, country and home in record breaking numbers.
We are not organized, boisterous or over-bearing. We get no liberal media coverage on TV, to reflect our message or our opinions. Many Americans, like you, me and all our friends, simply want to recognize that the vast majority of America supports our troops. Our idea of showing solidarity and support for our troops with dignity and respect starts this Friday -and continues each and every Friday until the troops all come home, sending a deafening message that.. Every red-blooded American who supports our men and women afar will wear something red. By word of mouth, press, TV -- let's make the United States on every Friday a sea of red much like a homecoming football game in the bleachers. If every one of us who loves this country will share this with acquaintances, co-workers, friends, and family. It will not be longbefore the USA is covered in RED and it will let our troops know the once"silent" majority is on their side more than ever, certainly more than the media lets on.The first thing a soldier says when asked "What can we do to make things better for you?" is...We need your support and your prayers .Let's get the word out and lead with class and dignity, by example; and wear something red every Friday.IF YOU AGREE -- THEN SEND THIS ON. IF YOU COULD CARE LESS THEN HIT THE DELETE BUTTON --- IT IS YOUR CHOICE. WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE, ONLY BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE.THEIR BLOOD RUNS RED---- SO WEAR RED! --- MAY GOD HELP AMERICA TO BECOME ONE NATION, UNDER GOD.

Nuff Said

America!!!

Osama Bin Laden, your time is short;

We'd rather you die, than come to court.

Why are you hiding if it was in God's name?
You're just a punk with a turban; a pathetic shame.

I have a question, about your theory and laws;"How come you never die for the cause?"Is it because you're a coward who counts on others?

Well, here in America, we stand by our brothers .As is usual, you failed in your mission;If you expected pure chaos, you can keep on wishing, Americans are now focused and stronger than ever;

Your death has become our next endeavor.

What you tried to kill, doesn't live in our walls; It's not in buildings or shopping malls. If all of our structures came crashing down;It would still be there, safe and sound.

Because pride and courage can't be destroyed;Even if the towers leave a deep void. We'll band together and fill the holes. We'll bury our dead and bless their souls. But then our energy will focus on you;And you'll feel the wrath of theRed, White and Blue.

So slither and hide like a snake in the grass;

Because America's coming tokick your ass!!!

Nascar!!

I have been a Nascar fan since I can't remember when. I went to Daytona when they were still racing on the beach. Over the years Nascar has come a long ways since its early days and hopefully it will continue to improve. The saftey features have greatly improved since Feb 2001 when we the fans lost a great driver and sportsman in the death of Dale Earnhardt.
His son Dale Jr. carries on as do other familys like the Jarretts, Pettys, and Wallace,Labonte's.
Some say this isn't a sport, but us true beleivers very much feel it is one of the very best with some great drivers and crews. There is not another sport where the athleates are as accessable to the fans as in Nascar. The price to get into a race has risen since the early days and the excitement has grown ten fold.

Watch a race on TV and pick yourself a favorite driver, car or car model and enjoy. More fun can be found if you visit one or two of the major tracks. The tracks are very fan friendly and most have a big infield ,so if you have a motorhome you can get even closer.

There is always something going on. They have 36 race weekends at differant tracks accross the country.
Have fun and enjoy.

Happy 4th of July

I know its only the first of July but I would like to wish each and everyone of you a Happy and Safe July 4,2006 and beyond.
Be careful on the highways and byways of this great and beautiful land of ours.
Think of the men and women that serve our country in the military where ever they may be.
Always be thankful for their service to this country and to our freedom.

Taps

If any of you have ever been to a military funeral in which taps were played; this brings out a new meaning of it.Here is something every American should know. Until I read this, I didn't know, but I checked it out and it's true:
We in the United States have all heard the haunting song, "Taps". It's the song that gives us that lump in our throats and usually tears in our eyes. But, do you know the story behind the song?
If not, I think you will be interested to find out about its humble beginnings.Reportedly, it all began in 1862 during the Civil War, when Union Army Captain Robert Ellicombe was with his men near Harrison 's Landing in Virginia .
The Confederate Army was on the other side of the narrow strip of land.During the night, Captain Ellicombe heard the moans of a soldier who lay severely wounded on the field. Not knowing if it was a Union or Confederate soldier, the Captain decided to risk his life and bring the stricken man back for medical attention.
Crawling on his stomach through the gunfire, the Captain reached the stricken soldier and began pulling him toward his encampment. When the Captain finally reached his own lines, he discovered it was actually a Confederate soldier, but the soldier was dead.
The Captain lit a lantern and suddenly caught his breath and went numb with shock. In the dim light, he saw the face of the soldier. It was his own son.
The boy had been studying music in the South when the war broke out.
Without telling his father, the boy enlisted in the Confederate Army. The following morning, heartbroken, the father asked permission of his superiors to give his son a full military burial, despite his enemy status.
His request was only partially granted. The Captain had asked if he could have a group of Army band members play a funeral dirge for his son at the funeral.
The request was turned down since the soldier was a Confederate. But, out of respect for the father, they did say they could give him only one musician.
The Captain chose a bugler. He asked the bugler to play a series of musical notes he had found on a piece of paper in the pocket of the dead youth's uniform. This wish was granted. The haunting melody, we now know as "Taps" ... used at military funerals was born.
The words are
:Day is done..Gone the sun
.From the lakes. From the hills. From the sky.
All is well.Safely rest.God is nigh.
Fading light.Dims the sight.And a star.Gems the sky.
Gleaming bright.From afar.Drawing nigh.Falls the night.
Thanks and praise. For our days.Neath the sun.Neath the stars.Neath the sky.
As we go.This we know.God is nigh.
I too have felt the chills while listening to "Taps" but I have never seen all the words to the song until now.
I didn't even know there was more than one verse.
I also never knew the story behind the song and I didn't know if you had either so I thought I'd pass it along.
I now have an even deeper respect for the song than I did before.
Remember Those Lost and Harmed While Serving Their Country. And also those presently serving in the Armed Forces.
Please send this on after a short prayer.
Make this a Prayer wheel for our soldiers..please don't break it.

Read This America!!!!

Love him or loathe him, he nailed this one right on the head; and believe me, Limbaugh is not one of my favorites.
By Rush Limbaugh:

I think the vast differences in compensation between victims of the September 11 casualty and those who die serving our country in Uniform are profound.
No one is really talking about it either, because you just don't criticize anything having to do with September 11. Well, I can't let the numbers pass by because it says something really disturbing about the entitlement mentality of this country.

If you lost a family member in the September 11 attack, you're going to get an average of $1,185,000. The range is a minimum guarantee of $250,000, all the way up to $4.7 million.
If you are a surviving family member of an American soldier killed in action, the first check you get is a $6,000 direct death benefit, half of which is taxable.
Next, you get $1,750 for burial costs.
If you are the surviving spouse, you get $833 a month until you remarry. And there's a payment of $211 per month for each child under 18. When the child hits 18, those payments come to a screeching halt.
Keep in mind that some of the people who are getting an average of $1.185million up to $4.7 million are complaining that it's not enough. Their deaths were tragic, but for most, they were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Soldiers put themselves in harms way FOR ALL OF US, and they and their families know the dangers. We also learned over the weekend that some of the victims from the Oklahoma City bombing have started an organization asking for the same deal that the September 11 families are getting.
In addition to that, some of the families of those bombed in the embassies are now asking for compensation as well. You see where this is going, don't you?
Folks, this is part and parcel of over 50 years of entitlement politics in this country. It's just really sad. Every time a pay raise comes up for the military, they usually receive next to nothing of a raise.
Now the green machine is in combat in the Middle East while their families have to survive on food stamps and live in low-rent housing. Make sense?
However, our own U.S. Congress voted themselves a raise. Many of you don't know that they only have to be in Congress one time to receive a pension that is more than $15,000 per month. And most are now equal to being millionaires plus. They do not receive Social Security on retirement because they didn't have to pay into the system.
If some of the military people stay in for 20 years and get out as an E-7, they may receive a pension of $1,000 per month, and the very people who placed them in harm's way receives a pension of $15,000 per month.
I would like to see our elected officials pick up a weapon and join ranks before they start cutting out benefits and lowering pay for our sons and daughters who are now fighting ." When do we finally do something about this?" If this doesn't seem fair to you, it is time to forward this to as many people as you can.

Anger Management

Subject: FWD: Adult Style...Anger Management

When you occasionally have a really bad day, and you just need to take itout on someone, don't take it out on someone you know, take it out onsomeone you don't know. I was sitting at my desk when I remembered a phone call I'd forgotten tomake. I found the number and dialed it. A man answered, saying "Hello." I politely said, "This is Chris. Could I please speak with Robyn Carter?" Suddenly a manic voice yelled out in my ear "Get the right f**in number!"and the phone was slammed down on me. I couldn't believe that anyone could be so rude. When I tracked down Robyn'scorrect number to call her, I found that I had accidentally transposed thelast twodigits.
After hanging up with her, I decided to call the 'wrong' number again. When the same guy answered the phone, I yelled "You're an asshole!" and hungup. I wrote his number down with the word 'asshole' next to it, and put itin my desk drawer.
Every couple of weeks, when I was paying bills or had a really bad day, I'dcall him up and yell, "You're an asshole!" It always cheered me up. When Caller ID was introduced, I thought my therapeutic "asshole calling"would have to stop. So, I called his number and said, "Hi, this is John Smith from the Verizon.I'm calling to see if you're familiar with our Caller ID Program?" He yelled"NO!" and slammed down the phone. I quickly called him back and said, "That's because, you're an asshole!"
One day I was at the store, getting ready to pull into a parking spot. Some guy in a black BMW cut me off and pulled into the spot I had patientlywaited for. I hit the horn and yelled that I'd been waiting for that spot, but the idiot ignored me. I noticed a "For Sale" sign in his back windowwhich included his phone number, so I wrote down the number. A couple of days later, right after calling the first asshole (I ha d hisnumber on speed dial) I thought that I'd better call the BMW asshole, too. Isaid, "Is this the man with the black BMW for sale?" "Yes, it is", he said. "Can you tell me where I can see it?" I asked. "Yes, I live at 34 Mowbray Blvd, in Vaucluse. It's a yellow house, and thecar's parked right out in front." "What's your name?" I asked. "My name is Don Hansen," he said. "When's a good time to catch you, Don?" "I'm home every evening after five." "Listen, Don, can I tell you something?" "Yes?" "Don, you're an asshole!" Then I hung up, and added his number to my speeddial, too.

Now, when I had a problem, I had two assholes to call. Then I came up with an idea. I called Asshole #1. "Hello." "You're an asshole!" (But I didn't hang up.) Are you still there?" he asked. "Yeah," I said. "Stop calling me," he screamed. "Make me," I said. "Who are you?" he asked. "My name is Don Hansen." "Yeah? Where do you live?" "Asshole, I live at 34 Mowbray Blvd, Vaucluse, a yellow house, with my blackBeamer parked in front." He said, "I'm coming over right now, Don. And you had better start sayingyour prayers." I said, "Yeah, like I'm really scared, asshole," and hung up. Then I called Asshole #2. "Hello?" he said. "Hello, asshole," I said. He yelled, "If I ever find out who you are..." "You'll what?" I said! "I'll kick your ass," he exclaimed. I answered, "Well, asshole, here's your chance. I'm coming over right now." Then I hung up and immediat! ely called the police, saying that I lived at34 Mowbray Blvd, Vaucluse, and that I was on my way over there to kill mygay lover. Then I called Channel 9 News about the gang war going down in Mowbray Blvd,Vaucluse. I quickly got into my car and headed over to Mowbray. I got there just in time to watch two assholes beating the crap out of eachother in front of six cop cars, an overhead police helicopter and a newscrew.

NOW I feel much better.

Anger management really works...

This really bothers me!!!

For about 37 years I was a smoker. When I quit I was up to about 2 1/2 packs a day. tried to quit many times, I knew they are addictive. Well I finally quit about 16 years ago and now I am on the bandwagon for peoples rights. I beleive that the non smokers should get off their highhorse and quit getting laws passed that are a pain in the ass for smokers. I know its bad for your health and all that crap, but smokers have rights too. They just passed a law here in San Diego county to ban smoking at the beach!!! What kind of shit is that. This world belongs to everyone not just the chosen few. Back off assholes. Let other people do their thing.Enough said on that subject.
Whats with guys over 10 years old wearing their hats backwards???? Grow up!!!!!
